the thrill of getting into a city .. after being in new jersey .. a godforsaken place cannot be penned down in as many words... am sure its the unexplainable which is very much understandable.... well so we get into atlantic city with no clue as to which casino to visit.... MY ulitmate aim being to hit any damn casino.. having brushed the Blackjack rules for the last couple of days .. thats wat i wanted to do... destiny had a different idea.. thankfully !!!! :)))) so we landed up at the famous boardwalk at AC.. wandering and looking lost as tourists usually do .. we have that particular look of amazement and anxiety to see the unknown, explore the city .. so well... after fing a parking spot near the boardwalk and putting in 5 quarters as parking fee.. a kind passerby informs us that no need to feed the meter as its the weekend and not required... thanks anyways!!!!
well... so we start strolling down the boardwalk which is crowded with alikes in all shapes and sizes... dreams in their eyes to make some extra bucks..... !!!
Caeser's, Tropicana, Borgata, Trump Taj Mahal are just to name a few of the casinos which adorn the boardwalk and the city .... so welll.. we get into the Trump Taj Mahal.. all desis are alike. well so i assume..... anything which remotely looks indian becomes all the more alluring .... ! the place is seriously initmidating with like 1000s of slot machines and tables where all kinds of spanish 21 ( basically blackjack ) , 3 card poker, roulette, 4 card poker .. some other and one particular dice game which i could not make heads and tails of !!!... after feeling so lost and damned decided to move to some other casino as the 100 bucks in my pocket ( limit for gambling decided prior to venturing out ....! ) was itching to play.... so well we got into Resorts casino.. a lesser intimidating place whr the stakes on table were much lower and well.. looked more venturable... ( is thr a word like that .????.. watever ) ..... so my initial foray into spanish 21 whr i started with a min 15 $ bet was not too bad .. considering the first time... but thr were these 2 other ladies on the table .. who seriously put me off and made me feel like a fool and out of place.,. cashed out and tried my luck at the Roulette... ..
guess it was beginner's luck.. by the end of close of 2 -3 hrs.. its seriously addictive and well a no - brainer... so seriously not tooo bad to start with .. and well in my case to end with...!!! :) at the end of the series of games was up to 203 $ ( started with 60 $ _ yes u got the maths correct .. made 143 $ on one night gambling .... completely beginner's luck... hopefully many more such evenings to come!!! amen!!!
