how can that be the case with me... the perpertual yapper.....with something or the other always running in my mind.. if not anything .. plans about the next movie to watch, places to visit, friends to catch up with , plan for dinner.. yada yada yada.... so am gonna dedicate this post to revisit one of the things which i used to be passionate about to the point of obsession during my grad days.... and my family will vouch for this and will share one of the funny moments about this obsession which though part of our rigorous learning methodology during MBA in SCMHRD ( and other SCMHRdians might curse me for even bring it up ) gradually fizzled out of my life .... YOGA.... am reviving it and making it part of my life again and it sure feels good..... now that am the topic will mention a very funny incident which happened once when my sister and jiju ( whom she was "just " dating then ) were hanging out at home and she was showing him some old snaps etc.. and there i walk into the room and plonk on the bed.. and right in front of them in middle of the conversation decide to perfect my Hallasana .. for benefit of thosewho do not know ....thats the lying down asana where you lift your legs and bend your back and take it right behind your head with your hands straightened out in front... well if it did not make sense .. pls pick a yoga book and look it up.... so well to get to the situation.. it is funny coz i hardly knew jiju then and well just coz of the random nature of me practicing Yoga all the time it just seemed normal to me.... nobody in our family has forgotten this particular episode and well guess will remain to be part of many family get togethers to come ... :))
So my daily routine nowadays includes practicing basic yoga asanas like gomukha asana, vajra asana, shava asana ... if time permits include some more asanas... should also start with Surya namaskar which am not practicing at the moment..... leaning towards practicing more breathing techniques - like Pranayama and Bhastrika... also imbibing Art of living breathing exercises " Soham Kriya " which we learnt as part of experiential learning during 2nd year in pune.... !
so thats towards being a more disciplined person.... !! will definitely recommend to everyone to make Yoga a part of your life !!!!
