life has been pretty hectic lately.... so thr goes the updates... started playing tennis this week.. well... only been 2 days... its been fun.. ! lots of laughs and running around... Murtuza and myself have been playing in the tennis courts at Woodlot park , south brunswick township... has pretty decent 4 courts out of 5 ( one has big big cracks ) .... also have been spending time on youtube following lessons on serving etc etc... it does help... ! i think i have improved on my serves.. though there is a great scope for improvement ..... way to go though!! i am proud of myself... hahaha...!
Movie Updates- there also have been lots of them lately- yesterday watched this quaint movie " the Village Barbershop " about this old man struggling with death of his business partner and trying to keep his barbershop out of debt and how this young girl streams into his life at the shop and turning his morose life aorund .. and in process dealing with her own issues.... ! nice light movie....leaves u with a smile at the end of it!!
trying to recollect the other movies which i have watched lately..
1. Brick Lane - about this bangaladeshi woman, in a loveless marriage in London.. ... definitelt watch..
2. The Guitar - ok this is an interesting movie- about this woman.. who find outs she just has 2 months to live as she has some kind of tumor,, i forget which one... and she she decides to rent a really expensive loft in NY for those 2 months .. splurges on really expensive househoold decoration stuff, soft towels, branded dresses, and a really kickass expensive red electric guitar and the accessories along with it... ! she lives up these 2 months ... maxing out on her credit cards.....! experiements with love with a young girl and and the delivery man..... and after living it up for 2 months... she realises that her health is not deteriorating the way it should ... and goes to her doc to come face to face with the relaity that her tumor has miraculously diasppeared!!! imagine of something like that happening... well its a movie.... ! so anyways she is out on streets now .. as she has no money and seels all her expensive stuff she cought at antique stores... lending - she keeps roaming around central park, strumming her red guitar and happens to get toghether with this rock band.. and gets to be part of a gig she has been dreaming since she was a kid.. alls well that ends well...
3. A Patch of blue- this was part of the Sidney Poitier collect that i was watching.. beautiful movie... not motivated enough to write the jist of the story
4. Something of Value- another of the movies from Sidney Poitier collect .. starring Rock Hudson... .. wow.. he is so handsome.... ! i have to watch more of Rock Hudson movies... read up his biography on wiki.... looks like he was gay ! well..... looks can be deceiving... !! :)
Other Updates- nothing much really...... have a movie date on sat ... ! watchmen it is... !!
